The Bakhoor is usually burned in a traditional Incense Burner called Mabkhara although it has many other names in other countries, which uses charcoal discs/briquettes to burn the Bakhoor. Many people nowadays also use electrical Incense Burners because they are faster and more portable. The Mabkhara can be made of simple wood or plastic with fancy decorations.
