27TH - 28TH JULY 2024 - TAS SUMMER AVAITION MEMORABIALIA FAIR
The venue will be in the Concorde Hangar at Manchester Airports Runway Visitor Park (WA15 8XQ, off the A538 Wilmslow Rd).
This event opens to the public at 10:00am and closes at 17:00pm at Concorde Hangar and many more activities on the field close by. Runway Visitor Park Closes at 20:00 pm.
It is a great opportunity to visit whatever the weather as there will be attractions for ALL the family both inside and outside including Trade Stalls including Scented and more plus Food Vendors, the venue has a bar which is located alongside the iconic Concorde G-BOAC. Access to events is normally through the TAS Shop and the Concorde Hangar – (Yes, you walk under Concorde).
We guarantee a fantastic day where everyone is made very welcome…and great views of the aircraft can be had regardless of the weather at the Runway Visitor Park (RVP). Something for everyone, plus loads of entertainment for the kids.
The Aviation Society or TAS as it is widely known, is based at Manchester Airport. It is the largest aviation society outside of London with over 1500 members and 50 years of unbroken experience. TAS is a “not for profit” organization and any monies raised are returned to the society for the future funding of events, activities for aviation enthusiasts or donated to local good causes.
Since its formation (over 45 years ago) The Aviation Society (TAS) has operated trips “Behind the Scenes” at airports for its members. These unique tours enable Members to have a detailed look at the workings of an organization, not normally seen by the public.
Naturally, Scented and more will be attending with some fantastic bargains for everyone. We also sell online, which is great but it’s not “smelly vision”, it’s better to meet customers face to face. This is our favourite Outdoor Event, just follow your nose to the “Source Of The Scent”.
